Hotel Vs. Rental House

We've got a lot going on right now, and it looks like we're going to have a very busy next few months as well.  We normally don't travel for the holidays, but this year it looks like we'll be going to North Carolina to visit some family for Thanksgiving.  It's not set in stone yet, but I'm really hoping we get to do this.  With a lot of family going I'm thinking it's going to be cheaper if we search for houses for rent fayetteville nc that offer temporary vacation rentals, especially now that it's the off season for most vacation rentals. Isn't it cheaper to split the rental cost of a house between 3 families instead of having to rent hotel rooms for everyone?
