The good news is back to school time brings tax free weekends for those of us in states that run these specials. If you're in a tax free state enjoy the fact you can shop tax free anytime, but if your state has a sales tax you can check the Sales Tax Holidays Calendar to see if and when your state offers a tax free weekend for school supplies, clothing, etc.
The following states will be running tax free sales this coming weekend, Aug 3-5, 2012, so if you're state is on the list get those supply lists together! Please check the calendar for a list of what items will be tax free.

If your state isn't listed above take a peek at the calendar anyway. There is a chance you'll have a sales tax weekend catering to school supplies at another date, especially if your area's schools start later in the year.
